The Power and Free Conveyor System is a programmable overhead solution for coating and pretreatment lines. With independent trolley control, variable speeds, and flexible routing, it improves efficiency and supports complex processes in powder coating, e-coating, and liquid painting applications.
The Power and Free Conveyor System is an advanced, programmable overhead conveyor solution designed specifically for coating, finishing, and pretreatment lines. Featuring independent trolley movement with start-stop capability, variable speed control, and route flexibility, this system optimizes workflow, increases line efficiency, and supports complex finishing processes. Ideal for powder coating, e-coating, liquid painting, and pretreatment systems, our Power and Free conveyors enhance productivity while allowing customizable production scheduling and reduced energy consumption.
At its core, the Power and Free Conveyor consists of two main components: the power track and the free track. The power track is a continuous loop that drives the conveyor chain, powered by an electric motor. The free track, on the other hand, consists of independently moving trolleys that can detach from the power track to allow for flexibility in the movement of items.
The items to be painted are attached to the free trolleys, which can be moved in and out of the power track as needed. This allows for efficient handling of workpieces that require different processing times or that need to be diverted to different stations for specific treatments, such as surface preparation, painting, or drying.

Q: What is the difference between Power and Free and continuous conveyors?
A: Power and Free allows carriers to stop and accumulate independently, while continuous conveyors move all carriers at a constant speed.
Q: Can carriers be manually pushed or repositioned?
A: Yes, carriers can be disengaged from the drive chain and moved manually for maintenance or rework.
Q: How is maintenance handled?
A: Modular design allows quick replacement of chain, trolleys, and drives. Most systems include easy-access features for lubrication and inspection.
Q: Can the system handle different part sizes in the same line?
A: Yes, with adjustable carriers and programmable routing, multiple product types can run simultaneously.
