E-coat is a process that coats metal substrates with electrically charged ecoat paint that forms an even coating on conductive surfaces through a controlled direct current electric field.

Why is ecoat paint used in the manufacturing of automobiles?

Ecocot paint has excellent corrosion resistance, film thickness uniformity, and edge coverage; these are all critical elements for automotive components that must be safe.

Is it possible to coat different sizes of metal parts simultaneously?.

Yes. With a properly designed rack and properly controlled circulation of the coating solution in the bath, mixed loads of parts can be coated at the same time within one production cycle.

Does the e-coating system comply with environmental regulations?

Yes. The system uses water-based coatings and has a closed-loop rinse operation with the ultrafiltration recovery system, which minimizes the emissions and waste that are produced in the coating process.
